CES is seeking a dynamic Director to join our Senior Management Team.
The successful candidate will help CES to drive and develop its
strategic objectives and fulfil its purpose to improve the lives of
people on the island of Ireland. They will work as part of the Senior
Management Team to enhance the business development function within
CES, and contribute to the development of professional practice in
relation to improving human services. They will also be responsible
for the development and management of CES programmes of work, leading
and delivering on a number of key organisation-wide all-island
projects.
The postholder will demonstrate strong experience in the areas of
practice, research, and/or implementation. They will also possess a
strong background in working and leading in human services (health,
education, social care, justice), in service delivery improvement, or
change management. Experience in leading organisations and people is
also desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE (BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO):
* Leading, managing and contributing to a multi-disciplinary team in
the delivery of high quality and timely evidenced informed projects
and programmes of work.
* Seeking innovative and sustainable solutions both internally and
for our partners and clients.
* Managing the team?s budget and resources and contributing to the
formulation of the Centre?s budget.
* As a member of the Centre?s Senior Management Team, reviewing
overall performance of the Centre and the day-to-day running and
management of organisational and team activities.
* Acting as lead advisor/ coordinator for the support provided by
CES to clients and partners.
* Leading and managing teams working a hybrid pattern.
The position is offered on a full-time basis, for a contract duration
of three years. The successful candidate will benefit from a
competitive package which includes a range of options for flexible
working, a matched contribution of up to 5% of annual salary to a
designated pension scheme after completion of a probationary period,
and an opportunity to work towards meaningful social change in the
not-for-profit sector.
